Our Heat Exchanger division is an industry leader in custom-designed ACHE & ACC technology. Using our Asian manufacturing partners, we are effectively able to provide first-rate engineering & quality at competitive pricing.

AIR COOLED HEAT EXCHANGER (ACHEs)

ACHEs are generally used for the process industries as a method of heat transfer and utilised for cooling purposes of industrial services using ambient air.

Using the thermodynamic principle of ‘forced convection,’ ACHEs are effective in reducing temperatures with minimal environmental impact, as opposed to other cooling processes.

With our leading industry technology, our custom designed ACHEs used unsurpassed engineering, high-grade alloy materials (dependant on application), and first rate manufacturing procedures provide optimal pressure drops, lower footprints, power consumption to suit the difficult process requirements of the client and environment.

All our ACHEs are designed with the latest design programmes, such as HTFS & HTRI software, as well as our own proprietary software. While others turn at the more complex process conditions, Sirius Process Technology welcomes them.

Our capability to deliver, first-rate custom designed coolers makes Sirius Process Technology and industry leader.

AIR COOLED CONDENSERS (ACCs)

ACCs in modern power plants generally comprise the single row, two stage (condense and relux) A Frame design concept.

With state of the art single row tubes including aluminium brazed to a special steel grade, our A frame design offers optimal steam and air side pressure drops, lower footprints, power consumption and importantly for harsh climates, a lower and manageable potential to freeze.

Alternative vacuum steam condenser design concepts include multi row cylindrical and elliptical (aluminium and steel fins on carbon steel tube) in A frame and horizontal configurations.

Applications for the alternative design concepts are generally applicable to smallish cogeneration, bio energy plants and steam condensers from evaporators in sugar plants.

In general, the footprint is larger and the power consumption is higher in these alternative designs.

The ACC plant includes control and safety relief systems, thermo compressors or vacuum pumps, condensate tanks and pumps and supporting steelwork and platforms.

Our manufacturing and design partners in Germany, Korea and China along with our engineering and after sales network includes a very experienced team.
